1. Provide necessary orientation and training for each volunteer.
2. Change the volunteer assignment or add new duties only through mutual agreement
between the volunteer coordinator and the volunteer.
3. Be available and open for questions and/or problems that may arise for the volunteer.
The Volunteer agrees to:
1. Agree to become familiar with and adhere to the policies and procedures of the agency
and to keep up to date on policies that apply to The Family Center, Inc.
2. To provide at least a 24 hour notice to The Family Center, Inc. if you are unable to work
(except in cases of illness and/or emergency.)
3. If I decide to discontinue my volunteer participation or if I am unable to fulfill my
responsibilities outlined in this agreement, I will notify the Volunteer Coordinator for
The Family Center, Inc. of my decision.
4. To perform my assigned duties to the very best of my abilities.
5. Attend any and all volunteer team training meetings that have to do with the component in
which I am volunteering.
Law Enforcement Background Check Regarding Application For Volunteering
By accepting this agreement, I authorize The Family Center, Inc. to contact law enforcement for a background check to include law enforcement contacts. I understand this information will be used to determine eligibility for employment and volunteer positions. You may be asked to supply additional information such as full name, alias, and/or social security number.
